The Make-Vocabulary

Scenario Illustration

Scenario

A scenario is an individual workflow that you create in Make. Each scenario consists of several modules that are linked together to transfer data from one app to another or to automate complex tasks.

Module

Modules

A module is the basic unit of a scenario. Modules can perform tasks, send data from one app to another or perform actions that are triggered by conditions. By adding modules, you can build scenarios visually and flexibly.

Trigger for scenarios

Trigger

A trigger is the starting point of a scenario that waits for a specific event to begin the automated process. As soon as the event occurs, the scenario becomes active.

Actions connected with scenarios

Action

Actions are the tasks that are executed following a trigger. In Make, these actions can include a variety of tasks, such as sending a message or updating data in a linked application or database.

Linked modules

App

In Make, every web application is called an app. Apps can be integrated into a scenario and linked to each other via modules in order to exchange data or automate processes.
