A wallet customer card is a digital version of the traditional physical customer card, stored directly in the digital wallet of a smartphone. This modern solution makes it easier for users to always have their customer cards readily accessible, without needing to carry multiple plastic cards. Wallet-based customer cards offer numerous benefits for both businesses and customers. Companies can easily distribute their loyalty cards digitally and send updates like loyalty points, discounts, or special offers in real-time. Push notifications automatically inform customers about exclusive deals or important news. For customers, a wallet customer card means more convenience and better visibility of their loyalty programs. Additionally, the purchase process is often faster since the card can be presented directly from the smartphone at checkout. Wallet-based customer cards also contribute to a more eco-friendly approach by reducing the use of paper and plastic.
Push and location-based notifications
Using the digital card in the wallet, you can directly address your target audience and inform them about a new promotion, information, or discount with short push notifications. Or you can use location-based notifications and offer your customers a particularly great offer as they pass by your store: completely personalized and absolutely targeted.
Live updates and status changes
Previously, if your physical card was lost or changed, a new one had to be printed and issued. The current points count or VIP status couldn't be viewed on the card itself. This is now much more efficient and convenient: Keeping all your digital cards up to date is easier than ever. Points or stamps are updated in real time, or a card receives an upgrade when the next status level is reached. Another advantage: The pass update can be displayed with a message directly on the customer's smartphone screen.
Simple accounting
At Kortpress you know exactly what you are paying for. With the cloud solution you benefit from transparent pricing with monthly billing. For the in-house solution there is a convenient and unlimited annual subscription.

Apple Wallet & Google Wallet
A Wallet App can be found on both iOS and Android devices. These digital Wallets can store means of payment such as credit cards or digital cards such as customer cards, admission tickets, boarding cards and coupons. Due to the large number of possible card types, the possible uses of the Wallet seem endless. For example, a digital customer card can be used to implement a digital customer loyalty program. The end customer can be notified via push notifications using the card stored in the Wallet and benefit from dynamic real-time updates of the customer account. The Wallet offers companies a high level of transparency about the behavior of their customers and the possibility of persuading them to make a purchase by means of individual offers.
A large number of companies issue customer cards to their customers in order to analyze or influence purchasing behavior through buying incentives and to create customer profiles using the collected data. There are different types of customer cards such as reward cards, point cards, advantage cards or club cards. Customer cards are considered to be an efficient instrument to promote customer loyalty and identification of the customer with the brand. By presenting a customer card customers usually receive either a discount on their current purchase or an allocation of points that they can use for future purchases. Card application forms typically include agreements from the store about customer privacy. The card issuer often uses aggregated data internally (and sometimes externally) as part of its market research. Customer cards are a standard marketing tool for brands and retailers and act as a link between trade and customers.
