Insurances in Google Wallet

Digital insurance cards or documents directly saved on your smartphone

The great advantage of mobile devices is that they can perform many functions despite their handy size. For example, Google offers its users the option of using a digital wallet in which they can store their credit cards, tickets to an event, or coupons. Even vehicle documents or insurance policies can be downloaded as digital passes and stored in the mobile wallet. Their function remains unchanged. Kortpress is made for creating such digital passports and at the same time offers numerous features with which you can customize digital passports for your customers and adapt them to your personal requirements. Insurances in Google Wallet can then be accessed on the cell phone and scanned or presented.

Target your customers directly!

Push Notifications | Location Based

You can address your target group directly using the card or pass in the wallet and notify them of a new campaign with short push notifications. Or, even better, you can use location-based services and make your customers a particularly great offer when they walk past your store: individually segmentable and absolutely targeted.

Live Update | Status change

Until now, if you lost or changed a card, you had to order or create a new one. You couldn't see your account points or status on the card itself. But now it has never been more efficient and convenient to keep all your cards and passes up-to-date. Account points are updated in real time, or a pass simply gets an upgrade when it reaches the next status level. And most importantly: This good news always lands directly on the screen of the customers' smartphone.

Insurance

Ways of financial protection

An insurance is a form of financial protection. For a monthly or annual payment, the respective insurance covers damage to objects and persons specified in advance. The maximum payout amount, as well as the criteria when the insurance takes over the damage, are also determined in advance. Most insurances cover only partial areas. Depending on what you want to insure, you often have to take out additional insurance, or extend the existing contract. For example, a motor vehicle insurance policy covers the damage around the accident with the vehicle. For a insurance against marten damage, however, one would have to extend the contract. And in the case of a bicycle accident, the motor vehicle insurance already no longer applies. In this case, for example, a private liability insurance is needed. In Germany, some insurance is required by law.

Google Wallet

Android

Android Pay was officially introduced on May 28, 2015 at the Google I/O Conference. Following the launch of the service in the United States, German Android users will also be able to enjoy Android Pay from June 26, 2018. At the beginning of 2018, the services Android Pay and Google Wallet were merged to form the Google Wallet brand. Google Wallet supports cashless payment by credit and debit cards as well as customer, gift, boarding and transit cards and event tickets. The advantage of Google Wallet becomes apparent when using it: Instead of carrying all tickets or cards around in paper or plastic form, they are stored centrally in the Google Wallet application on the Android smartphone or Smartwatch. The passes are also available at any time, as they are available in digital form offline on the device are present. Unlike Apple Wallet, Google Wallet is not pre-installed on all delivered Android devices. However, the passes are directly linked to the Google account of the end user linked.
