Or you can use location-based notifications and offer your customers a particularly great offer as they pass by your store: completely personalized and absolutely targeted.
Live updates and status changes

This is now much more efficient and convenient: Keeping all your digital cards up to date is easier than ever. Points or stamps are updated in real time, or a card receives an upgrade when the next status level is reached. Another advantage: The pass update can be displayed with a message directly on the customer's smartphone screen.

Google Wallet is a payment service from Google, which is available both on mobile devices and as a desktop version. The Google Wallet service, which was created in 2011, replaced Google Checkout, which was launched in 2006, two years later. Google Checkout facilitated payments in online stores. However, the service now allowed payments with credit cards, which is why it failed to be a great success in Germany. Google Wallet can be used both in on-site and online retail. For this, NFC technology is used to exchange signals between the mobile device and a so-called terminal. A terminal can be, for example, a checkout system in stores, which makes cashless payment possible, but also a payment process for online shopping. Google Wallet users simply have to enter their delivery and billing address and credit or debit card details. At the beginning of 2018, the Android Pay and Google Wallet services were merged to form the Google Wallet brand. This made it possible to create and collect customer, gift, boarding, and transit cards as well as event tickets in addition to cashless payments with credit and debit cards.
A transit card is an electronic or physical ticket that entitles the holder to use public transportation such as buses, trains or subways. These cards are widely used in cities around the world and offer users a convenient way to travel on public transportation. Modern transit cards are often digital and can be stored on smartphones or other electronic devices. This not only facilitates access to public transportation, but also offers additional features such as timetables, ticket purchasing and the ability to plan and manage journeys. Transit cards are usually linked to a credit balance or a certain number of journeys and must be presented or scanned when boarding and alighting from the means of transport. They can also cover different fare zones and allow users the flexibility to switch between different modes of transportation depending on their travel needs. Overall, transit cards continue to evolve, incorporating new technologies to streamline public transportation access and enhance the overall commuter experience.
