Google Wallet App is the mobile application of the payment service from US tech-company Google. Google Wallet App is available for free in Google Playstore. Google Wallet App is now replacing the previous Google Wallet payment app as virtual wallet. Besides means of cashless payment coupons, customer cards, tickets, vaccination certificates or boarding passes can be stored in the app. The wallet can automatically import boarding passes, coupons or vouchers from your GMail account if this is enabled in the app settings. Google Wallet App can also be used as digital car keys as long as the car manufacturer offers it. In the USA, the Google Wallet App also accepts student ID cards from selected colleges. Precondition for using the payment function of the Google Wallet App is a smartphone with NFC in order to exchange signals between the mobile device and a so-called terminal. A terminal can, for example, represent a cash register system in stationary retail which provides cashless payments and payment process for online shopping, as well. Users of Google Wallet only need to enter their delivery and billing address as well as credit or debit card data. Payment methods and cards already used in Google Wallet will be automatically transferred to the Google Wallet App.

Google is a technology company based in the USA and better known by its search engine. Apple Wallet & Google Wallet
A Wallet App can be found on both iOS and Android devices. These digital Wallets can store means of payment such as credit cards or digital cards such as customer cards, admission tickets, boarding passes and coupons.
