Implementation is the realization or execution of a previously planned design. In the context of software development, this is usually associated with the writing of program code. Functionalities previously formulated in a plan or concept are now implemented in the code in the implementation phase. Implementation is part of the software life cycle. This starts with a problem definition, the analysis of the problem, the definition of the requirements and the draft resulting from it. This serves as basis for the implementation. During this phase and also after completion the system is tested. This cycle can be iterated. Communication is particularly important during the development process. It is advisable to hold regular meetings in which various concerns can be discussed. Furthermore, depending on the project, it makes sense to appoint a project manager who oversees the implementation from the beginning. In addition, it is important to ensure that functions that are written additionally are integrated into the existing code without errors.
