Apple Wallet enables fast access to the card at all times and is also easy on the wallet, which is usually overflowing with all kinds of cards. A customer can be informed about new offers or a change to his customer account via his customer card in the Apple Wallet via push notification. The appearance of the customer card can be completely individualized and logos, background colors and text colors can be exchanged at any time. All changes are played out in real time. By storing GPS locations on the Apple Wallet installed customer card, customers are notified directly on their device during an in-store visit. Apple Wallet

iOS

Apple Wallet has been offering Apple users a convenient way to use customer cards, coupons, tickets, boarding passes or other cards for years. Since iOS 6 (release 2012 as Passbook) Apple Wallet is shipped pre-installed on all iOS devices. Due to this and the fact that iOS has a high market share, Apple Wallet quickly gained more and more relevance. The advantage of the Mobile Wallet becomes apparent when using it: Instead of carrying all tickets or cards around in paper or plastic form, they are stored centrally in the Apple Wallet on your iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad or Apple Watch. The passes can be called up at any time, as they are available in digital form offline directly on the device. Apple Pay has been available in Germany since 2018 and is receiving increasing support from banks and credit card providers. This enables cashless payment directly via the iPhone or Apple Watch with Apple Wallet.

Customer card

A large number of companies issue customer cards to their customers in order to analyze or influence purchasing behavior through buying incentives and to create customer profiles using the collected data. There are different types of customer cards such as reward cards, point cards, advantage cards or club cards. Customer cards are considered to be an efficient instrument to promote customer loyalty and identification of the customer with the brand. By presenting a customer card customers usually receive either a discount on their current purchase or an allocation of points that they can use for future purchases. Card application forms typically include agreements from the store about customer privacy. The card issuer often uses aggregated data internally (and sometimes externally) as part of its market research. Customer cards are a standard marketing tool for brands and retailers and act as a link between trade and customers.
